The primary aim of the poster is to grab the attention of the passer-by and communicate the intended message immediately.

As our world becomes increasingly cluttered with visual noise we think it is imperative to develop a strong visual concept requiring a minimum of text to communicate a clear message. However, when formulating a design strategy for a poster it is equally important to consider where it will be displayed and to assess the limited time its viewers will have to absorb the message. This will determine how much emphasis should be placed on attracting attention and how much detail might effectively be included in the message.
